DevOps Engineer – Azure & Kubernetes

About the role

We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join a 50‑person team working on the rewrite of our internal front‑to‑back trading platform. You will own our CI tools, drive migration to Azure DevOps, and ensure reliable, automated delivery of software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, manage and optimise CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Migrate existing tools (TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, SonarQube) to Azure DevOps.
• Deploy, monitor and maintain containerised applications on Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and ARM templates.
• Set up performance monitoring and alerting with Splunk, Grafana and Prometheus.
• Support messaging and caching layers (RabbitMQ, Redis) for micro‑service communication.
• Ensure security, scalability and high availability of Azure resources.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps.
• 2+ years of hands‑on Kubernetes/AKS experience.
• Strong knowledge of IaC (Terraform or ARM).
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash or Python scripting.
• Good written and spoken English.
