DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Automation

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a remote‑first international team based in Spain. You will work at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and developer experience, building and improving the platforms that power globally distributed digital products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal services and tools using Go to support deployment automation and developer platforms.
• Build, maintain, and optimise scalable CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD.
• Manage and improve Kubernetes‑based production and pre‑production environments.
• Develop and evolve internal deployment platforms and engineering workflows.
• Optimise staging and ephemeral environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
• Enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting with Grafana, OpenSearch and related observability tools.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual operational work and accelerate delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and software delivery processes.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a similar infrastructure‑focused role.
• Strong ability to work independently in a distributed, remote environment.
• Proven track record of designing and operating reliable production systems.

Required skills

• Go (Golang) development for production services.
• Kubernetes administration and operations.
• CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI/CD.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools: Terraform and Ansible.
• Linux system administration.
• Monitoring and observability tools: Grafana, OpenSearch.
