DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure (GCP)

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and evolve modern cloud infrastructure that powers live, production gaming systems at scale. The role is fully remote within Europe and focuses on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), where you will ensure high‑availability, performance, and automation for real‑time gaming experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Manage workloads using Compute Engine and Cloud Run.
• Containerize applications with Docker for consistent deployments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or similar tools.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Improve reliability, security, performance, and observability across environments.
• Collaborate with developers to accelerate delivery and enhance system stability.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and monitor production systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer supporting production systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with GCP.
• Solid background in Docker and containerized environments.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or equivalent).
• Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Understanding of networking, system design, and cloud architecture principles.
• Awareness of security best practices in cloud (IAM, secrets, access control).
• Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work independently in remote teams.
