Domain Architect for Data and Operations (Temporary)

About the role

A temporary position as Domain Architect for Data and Operations is open in the Operations & Data Domain Architecture team in Getafe (Madrid), within Airbus Defence and Space. You will help define and design architecture for complex and strategic digital solutions, contributing to the company's digital roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a visionary to help define the direction of future domain-specific IT products and services and validate product designs.
• Collaborate with digital and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions with innovative technologies.
• Take part in all phases of the solution lifecycle: research and design, development, testing, implementation and support.
• Align architecture strategy with the organisation's business goals and long-term information systems planning.
• Design the technical and functional architecture of applications using standard frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate), aligned with security requirements and modelling tools.

Required profile

• Masters' degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience as an IT/Solution Architect (functional and/or technical).
• Strong experience in one or more of: advanced analytics and AI, data-centric platforms, cloud architecture, IT infrastructure, networks.
• Experience in at least one of: analytics, data regulatory compliance, data management, artificial intelligence.
• Advanced level of English.
• Security clearance or eligibility for it.

Required skills

• Architecture modelling tools and methodologies such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ArchiMate and TOGAF.
• Ability to meet demanding requirements for security, compliance, robustness, scalability and availability.
