EASA B1.2 Licensed Engineer

About the role

BAA Training, one of Europe’s top independent aviation training centres, is expanding its MRO subsidiary Avia Repair Co. We are looking for an experienced EASA Part‑66 B1.2 Licensed Engineer to ensure the airworthiness, reliability and safety of our fleet within a professional maintenance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks and certify aircraft work to the highest safety and quality standards.
• Apply certification privileges in line with company authorisations and regulatory limits.
• Execute daily maintenance and repair jobs in collaboration with the technical team.
• Develop, validate and deliver technical Aircraft Maintenance data for non‑recurring and sustaining projects.
• Coordinate with maintenance contractors, equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
• Manage off‑aircraft activities such as spares handling and ensure full documentation transparency.
• Follow approved company processes and perform any additional duties assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Valid EASA Part‑66 B1.2 licence (full Group 3 or type rating on Cessna 172 preferred).
• Human Factors training compliant with Part CAO, Part ML and Part M.
• Minimum three years of aviation experience.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and share knowledge.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, good time‑management and a positive attitude.
• Operational proficiency in English; Spanish is an advantage.
• Legal right to work in the EU.
