EEE Parts Project Engineer

About the role

The EEE Parts Project Engineer will join the EEE Project Support Team at Airbus CRISA in Tres Cantos, supporting a range of space programmes including launchers, Earth observation, and exploration missions. The role bridges the Project Core Team and the EEE Parts, Materials and Processes group, driving the development of electronic equipment from concept to flight‑model delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical interface between internal customers (programmes, design, procurement, quality, sales) and the EEE Parts, Materials and Processes team.
• Manage selection, demand (OQOTOC) and usage support of electronic parts, providing technical and quality assistance to space agencies and commercial partners.
• Support procurement activities, validate components against programme requirements, and liaise with lower‑tier suppliers.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end process from bid to project delivery, handling quality issues, NCRs, and risk/opportunity management for EEE parts.
• Participate in technical discussions on EEE design, product assurance, and failure‑mode analysis.

Required profile

• Engineering or physics degree.
• Specific experience with active and passive electronic components.
• Background in space programmes and familiarity with EEE space standardisation systems (MIL, ESCC).
• Strong knowledge of EEE device physics, construction, functionality and failure modes.
