eFX Sales Specialist – Corporate FX (Madrid)

About the role

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) is seeking an eFX Sales professional to join its Markets team in Madrid. You will drive the adoption of electronic foreign‑exchange execution across the Global Corporate FX franchise, helping clients optimise their trading experience.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and support the use of electronic FX execution tools for corporate clients.
• Educate clients on platform features, guide them through transactions, and optimise their usage.
• Collaborate with FX Trading to monitor execution quality, pricing performance, and client behaviour.
• Work with technology, data‑science, quant, and production support teams to analyse usage data and improve pricing and execution outcomes.
• Contribute to the evolution of the eFX product roadmap with client‑focused insights.
• Identify opportunities and trends using metrics and execution data, rather than reacting to ad‑hoc requests.
• Support rollout of new platforms, features, and capabilities, ensuring client‑ready delivery.
• Act as a centre of expertise for electronic FX execution while respecting relationship ownership by voice sales.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of professional experience in FX sales, electronic trading, or related financial services.
• Strong understanding of corporate FX needs and electronic execution environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively across sales, trading, technology, and data teams.
