Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability of industrial and fruit-processing equipment at our facility in Algemes, Valencia. Reporting to the Maintenance Department, you will carry out preventive and corrective tasks, diagnose faults and support continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fruit-processing and other industrial machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
• Monitor production lines, conduct inspections and routine maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and maintenance procedures.
• Support continuous-improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.

Required profile

• Vocational or Technical Diploma in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of electromechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Willingness to work rotating morning/afternoon shifts and occasional weekends.
• Knowledge of industrial safety and maintenance best practices.
• Experience in fruit-processing or food-manufacturing environments is a plus.
