Electrical Package Manager

About the role

Mercury, a European leader in construction solutions, is looking for an Electrical Package Manager to lead the delivery of electrical systems on complex projects in Madrid. You will work closely with the Electrical Project Manager, Safety Advisor and QA Manager to ensure safe, high‑quality execution while meeting schedule and budget targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete Electrical Systems package, from planning through hand‑over.
• Coordinate site safety activities, maintain the safety file and promote a strong HSE culture.
• Oversee quality assurance processes, set up and close out QA documentation.
• Control the project schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager, consulting engineer and client.
• Track and report all costs related to the electrical package, including subcontractors, materials, plant, equipment, variations and valuations.
• Supervise day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring compliance with Mercury policies and procedures.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, conduct weekly progress meetings and manage the snagging system.
• Prepare weekly cost and progress reports, and support final account, O&M manuals, punch lists and safety file close‑out.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing electrical packages on construction projects.
• Strong understanding of site safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients and consultants.
• Excellent organisational and reporting skills.
