Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to join our production maintenance team at the Xeresa plant. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on fruit‑processing and other industrial machinery, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults, and ensuring reliable, continuous operation of production equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fruit processing and industrial machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical faults.
• Monitor production line equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Carry out inspections and routine maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
• Follow company safety procedures, maintenance standards, and quality requirements.
• Maintain maintenance records and report equipment issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.

Required profile

• Vocational training (Intermediate Level) in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electromechanical maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work rotating morning and afternoon shifts on alternate weeks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Knowledge of industrial safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
