Electromechanical Technician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician to maintain and improve the reliability of production equipment and industrial facilities in the Valencian Community, Spain. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing faults, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and industrial facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults to ensure equipment reliability.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, defects, and potential failures before they impact operations.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, downtime, spare parts usage, and corrective actions using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Monitor inventory and ensure efficient use of maintenance spare parts and consumables.
• Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and workshop areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Collaborate with production teams to plan maintenance activities and minimize operational disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and company maintenance standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with installation, commissioning, modification, and relocation of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimise maintenance processes and equipment performance.

Required profile

• Vocational training (intermediate or advanced) in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience performing electromechanical maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial automation systems.
• Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
