Electromechanical Technician

About the role

The Electromechanical Technician will join the Engineering Department in Barcelona, supporting the assembly, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems in printing machinery. The role involves both in‑house work and on‑site technical support at customer facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical and electromechanical components in industrial machines.
• Install, commission and start‑up new printing equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical adjustments, testing and validation before shipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose failures in electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical subsystems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Interpret electrical diagrams, wiring schematics and technical documentation.
• Provide technical intervention at customer sites to resolve performance issues.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability.

Required profile

• Professional training (FP) Grade II or equivalent in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Systems, Automation, Mechatronics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in assembly, maintenance or commissioning of industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Honest, meticulous, hard‑working and professional attitude.
• Highly motivated team player with willingness to travel.
• English language skills valued.
