Expert AP1000 SRO Training Instructor

About the Position

Join Westinghouse Nuclear Spain as an AP1000 SRO Training Instructor, a pivotal role dedicated to delivering high-level technical education within the nuclear industry. You will play a key part in shaping the expertise of operational personnel through advanced pedagogical methods and simulator-based training.

Main Missions

• Manage the full SAT (Systematic Approach to Training) process for both initial and continuous education programs.
• Analyze, design, and implement comprehensive training needs for licensed and non-licensed operational staff.
• Develop and deliver high-quality training sessions in classrooms, on-site, and via full-scope simulators.
• Identify simulator malfunctions and collaborate closely with technical teams for troubleshooting and correction.
• Coordinate training activities by supporting training committees and managing program scheduling.
• Contribute to the innovation of educational tools, including advanced simulators, multimedia, videos, and technical models.

Candidate Profile

• University degree or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical scientific field.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience as an Operational Instructor.
• Proven ability to convey complex technical concepts with pedagogical excellence.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to technical problem-solving.
• Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally as required.

Required Skills

• Advanced knowledge of AP1000 systems and nuclear operations.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Expertise in Simulator-Based Training (SBT) and SAT methodologies.
• Ability to develop multimedia and advanced educational resources.
• Valid driver's license.
