Field Sales Representative – Electronic Components Distribution

About the role

Richardson RFPD, an Arrow company, specialises in RF, wireless, IoT and power technologies products and distributes electronic components in 35 locations worldwide. It is looking for a Field Sales Representative based in Madrid, Spain, to build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and strategic partners and to drive demand for its products and solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage customer relationships through regular visits and identify new business opportunities.
• Promote technical solutions and recommend products that fit customers' application and project needs.
• Drive design-in opportunities and increase product penetration in existing and new accounts.
• Use knowledge of the electronics distribution market and supplier ecosystem to grow market share and sales.
• Work with suppliers and internal engineering teams to support customer projects from concept through production.
• Maintain accurate customer and market information, including target applications and industry trends.
• Prepare sales forecasts, territory reports and market analyses for regional growth plans.
• Stay up to date with technologies and supplier roadmaps through ongoing training.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in technical sales, ideally in electronic components distribution.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a related technical field.
• Fluent Spanish and English; Portuguese is a great plus.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Spain.

Required skills

• Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Experience in Radio Frequency (RF).
• Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM is a plus.
