Finance Analyst / Controller

About the role

Join Multiverse Computing, a fast‑growing deep‑tech company, as a Finance Analyst / Controller. You will support financial planning, analysis, and control across multiple entities and currencies, helping the business make data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial and business analysis, even with incomplete data.
• Own project finance, budgeting, profitability tracking and cost‑center expense monitoring.
• Build reports that translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Collaborate on efficient accounting processes, controls and industry best practices.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to standardise processes.
• Control supplier invoices, taxes, payroll expenses and accruals.
• Participate in ERP and systems‑improvement projects.
• Coordinate financial closings, treasury activities and inter‑company reconciliations.
• Support external audit processes and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of relevant experience, preferably with a Big 4 audit or accounting firm.
• Experience working in multi‑entity, multi‑currency environments.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Spanish GAAP (PGC).

Required skills

• Big 4 audit/accounting background (mandatory).
• Solid grounding in IFRS and Spanish GAAP.
• Hands‑on financial modelling, P&L ownership, variance analysis and driver‑based forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, macros).
• Experience with month‑end close cycles and ERP systems.
