Finance Director – Strategic Leader for Spain

About the role

As Finance Director for Spain, you will act as the strategic advisor to the General Manager of Glovo Spain, one of the company’s largest markets. You will own the country’s financial planning, performance steering and strategic decision‑making, ensuring the business remains financially healthy and competitive.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a finance team delivering insights, identifying opportunities and challenging the status quo.
• Partner with the General Manager on roadmap, investment decisions and business model evolution.
• Own and manage the full P&L, from revenue levers to cost optimisation.
• Drive annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monthly performance reviews across all departments.
• Develop business cases, scenario analyses and predictive models to support expansion and operational optimisation.
• Collaborate with central finance, strategy and data teams to ensure alignment and best‑in‑class execution.
• Represent the country in international forums and contribute to Glovo’s global playbook.
• Oversee treasury, accounting, financial policies and financial statements, and manage relationships with auditors and external consultants.

Required profile

• 10–15+ years of finance experience in high‑growth, tech‑focused environments.
• Proven senior leadership experience with full P&L responsibility.
• Track record of building and developing high‑performing finance teams.
• Strong cross‑functional business acumen and ability to influence C‑level discussions.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
