Financial Controller – COE for France & Africa

About the role

Accelleron is seeking a Financial Controller to join its international finance team, supporting the France & Africa business units from its Madrid office. Reporting to the Country Finance Manager and collaborating with colleagues in India, you will play a key role in month‑end closing, financial reporting, and business analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and streamline month‑end closing activities to ensure timely MIS reporting.
• Prepare and validate financial reporting packages, reconciling data accuracy.
• Analyze overhead, cost‑benefit, revenue margins, inventories, net working capital, and cash flow.
• Conduct overdue analysis, dispute follow‑ups, and provide forex hedging support.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts, manage vendor invoice follow‑ups, and maintain accurate accruals and provisions.
• Develop “what‑if” financial scenarios and support Business Review data preparation.
• Ensure internal controls and audit compliance, maintaining proper documentation and SOPs.
• Collaborate with finance professionals across divisions, countries, and functions to drive performance insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably in a multinational or matrix environment.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP FI/CO or similar ERP financial modules.
