Financial Controller

About the role

We are supporting an international group in the search for a Financial Controller who will work in a proactive finance function with direct exposure to senior stakeholders and decision‑making. The role combines financial analysis with a strong business focus, helping to translate numbers into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and month‑end closing processes.
• Analyze business performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Support cash‑flow and working‑capital monitoring, understanding key drivers.
• Partner with operations, commercial and other departments to turn financial data into actionable insights.
• Assist in the analysis of investments, projects and business initiatives.
• Prepare reporting and presentations for management.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in controlling, FP&A or finance business partnering.
• Background in dynamic, relatively complex environments (e.g., FMCG, industrial).
• Solid understanding of P&L and business drivers.
• Interest in being close to the business and understanding operational impact.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure and communicate insights clearly.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
• Preferable to have a car and driving licence (required for on‑site presence three days a week).
