French Payroll, Time & Attendance Specialist

About the role

The People Support Center (PSC) at Wella Company is modernising its HR service delivery with automation and AI. We are seeking a French Payroll, Time & Attendance Specialist to execute payroll, time‑keeping and benefits processes for France and the Netherlands, while supporting the broader EMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly payroll for France and the Netherlands in partnership with external vendors, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and legal compliance.
• Manage time‑and‑attendance data, perform validations, and apply corrections according to local rules and payroll calendars.
• Administer employee benefits enrolments and changes, adhering to local legislation and company policies.
• Process variable payments such as bonuses, salary increases, allowances and ad‑hoc payments.
• Maintain compliance with labor laws, internal controls and audit requirements; participate in payroll reconciliations and collaborate with Finance on GL accuracy.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise for employee queries, handle case‑based inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Contribute to process simplification, standardisation and automation initiatives, supporting new tools and AI‑enabled solutions.

Required profile

• Hands‑on payroll execution experience for France (minimum 2 years); experience in other EMEA countries is a plus.
• Proficiency in English and French.
• Background in HR Operations or People Services supporting multiple countries.
• Solid exposure to time‑and‑attendance and benefits administration.
• Strong attention to detail and high data‑accuracy standards.
• Ability to manage deadlines, priorities and payroll calendars in a structured manner.
