Frontend Developer – Angular & Java Full‑Stack

About the role

Allianz Technology is seeking a Frontend Developer to lead the design and implementation of Angular component libraries that serve a global user base. The role combines hands‑on frontend work with occasional backend contributions, supporting the Allianz Document Storage and Retrieval (ADSR) platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Angular component libraries with a worldwide footprint.
• Lead frontend initiatives while assisting with backend tasks as needed.
• Support the development, maintenance, and migration of the ADSR system.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of UI components.
• Participate in transition phases, helping migrate and operate existing systems.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Angular 19+ and TypeScript.
• Solid experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot 3+, and web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, YAML, XML).
• Hands‑on knowledge of Git/GitHub, Docker, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Nexus).
• Familiarity with ElasticSearch, Redis/Valkey, Maven, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Experience with modern IDEs such as VSCode, IntelliJ, or Eclipse.
• Working knowledge of Keycloak, Dynatrace, Jira, and Confluence.
• Agile mindset and English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
