Full Stack Engineer – Hybrid, Madrid

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join FEROFERO’s engineering team in Madrid. You will help build the next‑generation checkout experience for eCommerce merchants, working on both our WooCommerce plugin and Magento module.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end features across the frontend and backend.
• Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Maintain and extend backend services with modern PHP.
• Work on the WooCommerce checkout plugin and Magento checkout module.
• Integrate frontend and backend through REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers and designers.
• Write clean, maintainable and testable code while continuously learning new tools and best practices.

Required profile

• Professional experience building web applications and designing scalable systems.
• Hands‑on experience across the stack, with a stronger background in either frontend or backend.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and collaborative mindset.
• Experience in small, fast‑moving teams and willingness to wear multiple hats.
