Fullstack Developer

About the role

Luzern eCommerce is looking for a talented Fullstack Developer to join its Engineering team. You will work on the AI‑enabled Channel Optimizer platform, building new features and maintaining existing services for global retail brands.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy end‑to‑end applications on the Channel Optimizer platform.
• Maintain and upgrade existing front‑end and back‑end components using modern technologies.
• Implement API integrations with third‑party systems.
• Build backend services with Node.js and NestJs, and frontend components with Vue.js (React.js knowledge a plus).
• Develop LLM‑powered agents using tools such as OpenAI Codex and Claude.
• Utilise AWS services (Lambda, Amplify, other cloud services) for scalable deployments.
• Write clean, testable code following TDD practices (Jest/NUnit).
• Collaborate with product designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience, with a proven track record as a Node.js developer.
• Experience building agentic (LLM) applications.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and modern web stacks.
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases, especially MySQL.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and effective communication skills.
