Full‑Stack Developer – JavaScript/Python/Django

About the role

We are looking for a Full‑Stack Developer to join BASF’s Digital Hub in Madrid, working within the Agricultural Solutions – Digital Strategy & Delivery team. You will help design, build and maintain web‑based tools that support lab and study management for regulatory, stewardship and public‑affairs users.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners to translate business requirements into technical specifications and effort estimates.
• Develop and maintain both front‑end and back‑end components using JavaScript, Python and Django.
• Implement and optimise database interactions and API services.
• Apply security best practices and ensure code quality through reviews and automated testing.
• Work with DevOps to set up CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps workflows and cloud deployments.
• Provide ongoing support, debugging and enhancements for released digital products.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
• Experience delivering web applications in an agile environment.
• Good communication skills in English.
