Functional Product Owner – Foundations (Assisted Channels)

About the role

Open Digital Services is seeking a Functional Product Owner based in Madrid to lead the functional definition and evolution of global capabilities within the Assisted Channels platform. You will translate business, operational and market needs into scalable product solutions and ensure alignment with the global product strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Own and contribute to the functional vision and roadmap of Assisted Channels capabilities.
• Collaborate with country programs to identify reusable global capabilities and evaluate local requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional definitions, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria for IT teams.
• Coordinate with technical teams for backlog prioritisation, release planning and functional validation.
• Support rollout and adoption activities during country deployments, ensuring proper understanding of global capabilities.

Required profile

• Practical knowledge of branch banking operations, front‑office and teller processes.
• Experience with enterprise/SME banking, onboarding, multi‑user structures and commercial campaign management.
• Understanding of omnichannel operations, including Genesys Cloud and MS Dynamics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Proven experience in Product Ownership and Functional Analysis within digital banking.
• Hands‑on use of Jira and Confluence for backlog and documentation management.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Genesys Cloud and Microsoft Dynamics platforms.
