Global Category Manager - Managed Solutions (MCS & VDPS)

About the role

HP's Managed Solutions team is looking for a Global Category Manager to cover Managed Collaboration Services (MCS) and Value Delivery Partner Services (VDPS). The role drives profitable growth in the MS business through service and solution deployment support, launch readiness and 4P management, working in a worldwide capacity with markets, the MS portfolio, professional and managed services teams, finance and GTM teams.

Key responsibilities

• Engage strategically with Solution Portfolio Leaders to help them achieve their P&L and OKR targets, understand roadmaps and communicate market needs.
• Lead the definition of a 4P plan to meet or exceed budget expectations, monitor business and offer performance and drive corrective action.
• Act as offer specialist for market teams, ensuring training, support and offer expectations are in place, supporting offer NSI and readiness, and monitoring solution adoption.
• Partner with Market Finance, Planning and other teams on Flash, quota and budget achievements.
• Clarify business priorities, programs and initiatives with markets and stakeholders, capture and triage market support requests and follow up on closures.
• Build strong working relationships with WS MS markets, Global Services Sales and Channel teams, and drive initiatives and influence key stakeholders.

Required profile

• First-level university degree; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of business management, contractual print experience, category, business and/or P&L management.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams by influence and representing the team at executive level.

Required skills

• Familiarity with HP's E2E solutions business framework, process and infrastructure.
• Business acumen: business management processes, metrics and operational frameworks, with experience in business reviews, planning and stakeholder engagements.
• Analytical mindset: data-driven decision making, metric definition and alignment of tools.
