Global Finance Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Global Finance Analyst to join IFF’s Business Unit Finance team in Oviedo, Asturias. The analyst will drive financial visibility, performance insights and decision‑making across the organization, partnering with business leaders to improve forecasting accuracy and support strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly and monthly sales, gross profit and RSA cost forecasts, identifying drivers and improvement actions.
• Build, standardize and continuously improve forecasting processes and accuracy.
• Support the preparation and execution of monthly Business Unit reviews with clear performance analysis.
• Drive annual budget and strategy processes, ensuring timely and consistent delivery.
• Analyze financial performance to uncover value drivers, trends and risks, translating data into actionable insights.
• Lead cost‑optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives across the Business Unit.
• Develop and maintain financial models for business decisions and capital investment assessments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and support limited business travel when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably in an international, medium‑to‑large organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business; MBA is a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to see both details and the big picture.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Advanced Excel.
• Data‑analytics tools such as Power BI and Power Query.
• Proven ability to build robust financial models.
