Global Marketing & Communications Director

About the role

Cosmo is looking for a strategic, creative and business‑oriented leader to head its global marketing and communications function. Based in Barcelona, the Global Marketing & Communications Director will shape the company’s brand positioning, storytelling and visual identity across all markets, supporting commercial growth and reinforcing Cosmo’s status as a leading fragrance partner.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a global marketing and communications strategy that strengthens brand visibility and ensures consistent messaging across Fine Fragrance, Consumer Products, Ingredients and Innovation.
• Partner with commercial and regional teams to develop marketing initiatives that deepen client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
• Lead the creation of digital, social, PR, presentation and campaign content, overseeing public‑relations activities and industry visibility.
• Build and manage a high‑performing global marketing organization, coordinating regional teams, improving processes, tracking KPIs and fostering a culture of creativity and agility.
• Collaborate with Fragrance Creation, Evaluation, Regulatory and Commercial functions on strategic projects, digital transformation and AI‑enabled marketing tools.

Required profile

• 12‑15+ years of experience in marketing, communications or brand leadership, preferably within fragrance, beauty, luxury, cosmetics or FMCG.
• Proven track record of building global brands and leading international marketing teams in a matrixed environment.
• Strong strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution capability.
• Excellent storytelling, communication and presentation skills.
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field; MBA preferred.
