Golang Developer

About the role

Valsea is looking for a self‑driven Golang Developer to help expand its product catalogue and integrate newly acquired platforms into its ecosystem. You will work on highly scalable backend services in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain resilient backend services using Go.
• Develop event‑driven, distributed systems leveraging Apache Kafka and gRPC.
• Own and evolve acquired codebases, integrating them into Valsea’s platform.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve the backend stack.
• Build and maintain back‑office APIs and admin tooling for internal teams.
• Strengthen observability, monitoring, and alerting for reliable production operation.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimise performance, and drive proactive improvements.
• Share knowledge and raise the technical bar across the team.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated professional comfortable working both independently and within a large team.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience building production‑grade distributed systems.
• Passionate about new ideas and innovative problem‑solving.
