Group Financial Control Director – Global Consolidation

About the role

Impress is seeking a senior finance leader to act as the guardian of its global financial integrity. As the Group Financial Control Director, you will oversee consolidation, IFRS reporting, and the automation of accounting processes across more than 150 locations in 10 countries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation for all group entities, ensuring strict compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Serve as the internal technical expert for complex transactions and provide "investment‑ready" financial reporting.
• Drive automation of accounting and reporting workflows, optimizing ERP and BI tools to create a single source of truth.
• Mentor, scale and set KPIs for the central accounting and control team while coordinating with local finance heads.
• Act as primary contact for external auditors, lead the annual audit to a clean opinion, and design robust internal control frameworks.
• Support M&A activities and future funding rounds by leading financial due diligence and data‑room preparation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in group controlling or corporate finance within large multinational environments.
• Proven expertise in preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing finance teams.
• Strong background in external audit and internal control design.
