Group Financial Control Director

About the role

Impress is seeking a Group Financial Control Director to safeguard the integrity of its global financial reporting. You will lead the consolidation and control function across all entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP while driving automation and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation for the entire group and guarantee strict IFRS compliance.
• Act as the internal technical expert for complex transactions and provide "investment‑ready" financial reporting.
• Design and implement automation of accounting and reporting processes, optimizing ERP and BI tools to create a single source of truth.
• Mentor, scale and set KPIs for the central accounting and control team, coordinating with local finance heads.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors, lead the annual audit to a clean opinion, and build a robust internal control framework.
• Support M&A and funding activities by leading financial due diligence and data‑room preparation.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in a Group Controller or similar senior finance role within a large multinational.
• Strong background in external audit and proven expertise in IFRS consolidation.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage and develop high‑performance finance teams.
