Group Financial Controller Internship

About the role

Join AXA's PBRC (Planning, Budget, Results, Central) department as a Group Financial Controller Intern. You will work alongside the Financial Controlling team to support the production of internal and external financial analyses, IFRS disclosures, and the preparation of the Group annual report.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the collection, validation and consolidation of financial data from AXA entities.
• Support the preparation of IFRS and Solvency II disclosures for Group management and external stakeholders.
• Help monitor CSRD indicators and contribute to the analysis of financial results.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data quality and timely delivery of reports.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university program in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Interest in the insurance sector and ability to work in a multinational environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Familiarity with Solvency II concepts.
• Basic financial analysis and data handling abilities.
