Groups & Events Executive

About the role

The Groups & Events Executive will be the primary point of contact for all group and event enquiries at The Hoxton Poblenou. You will manage the full sales cycle—from initial proposal and negotiation through contract signing, event planning, and post‑event follow‑up—ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Handle group and event requests from start to finish, including proposals, negotiations, contracts, and invoicing.
• Use OPERA and DELPHI booking systems to record details, generate function sheets, manage deposits and track payments.
• Maintain accurate client and event databases, including rooming lists and special requirements.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Support the Groups and Events Manager with ad‑hoc projects and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable experiences.
• Proactive, ego‑free attitude with a willingness to try new approaches.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with reactive sales in groups or events within hotels, venues, or private clubs.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with property management systems such as OPERA and DELPHI.
• Ability to work quickly, stay organized, and manage detailed information accurately.
