Head of Agroscience Services Field Europe

About the role

Eurofins Agroscience Services is looking for a Head of Agroscience Services Field Europe to lead its field station network across Europe, covering 30-40 sites and about 300 employees. The role reports to the Head of Agroscience Services Europe and drives strategic transformation, operational excellence and growth in an evolving agroscience market. It is a key leadership position with substantial autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the European Agroscience Services Field strategy, driving profitable growth and market share expansion with a focus on service quality, strategic and key accounts, and the evolution of the service portfolio.
• Partner with Company Managing Directors and Boards on legal compliance, long-term objectives, scientific direction and commercial priorities, and act as Director or Board Member for companies where required.
• Own the P&L, including revenue growth, margin, cost control and capital discipline, and turn commercial strategy into operational levers for efficient, scalable service delivery.
• Guide Field Services business leaders toward high-quality service and best-in-class customer satisfaction, and drive structural performance improvements.
• Lead change, develop, coach and succession-plan key management talent, and foster open communication and accountability across countries and sites.

Required profile

• University degree (MSc) in agriculture or a related field; MBA is an advantage.
• Over 10 years of experience leading teams and managing full P&L responsibility.
• Fluent English at negotiation level (spoken and written).
• Personal qualities: transformational leadership, maturity, integrity, organization-first mindset, intercultural competence, transparent and inclusive leadership, and deep understanding of agriculture.
• Based near one of the sites, willing to travel 40-60% (2-3 days per week); experience in the seed business is advantageous.
