Head of Marketing – Retail Brand (Spain & Portugal)

About the role

The retail brand is expanding across the Iberian market and seeks a Head of Marketing to shape brand strategy and drive growth in Spain and Portugal. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the full marketing function and lead a cross‑border team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute brand positioning, identity, and long‑term equity strategy for both markets.
• Manage the complete marketing mix: digital, content, paid media, CRM, events, and in‑store activation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team across Spain and Portugal.
• Design and implement growth strategies focused on acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
• Oversee agency and partner relationships for creative, media, and performance services.
• Control budget, track performance, and report results to the executive team.
• Leverage market and consumer insights to influence product and commercial decisions.

Required profile

• 7+ years of marketing leadership experience, preferably in retail or premium consumer brands.
• Proven ability to build brand awareness while delivering measurable commercial growth.
• Experience running multi‑market campaigns in Spain and Portugal.
• Strong analytical mindset with comfort in data, attribution, and performance metrics.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing marketing teams.
• Native or near‑native Spanish; Portuguese is a strong advantage; professional English.
