Head of Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Head of Operations to join Impress, the leading technology‑enabled orthodontic clinic chain in Europe. Reporting directly to the Co‑founder and Chief Medical Officer, you will translate the clinical vision into repeatable, measurable processes across all clinics and countries.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run the monthly and quarterly clinical operations cadence, including medical council meetings and clinical business reviews.
• Establish, roll out and continuously update protocols and SOPs, ensuring they are documented, trained and audited across markets.
• Build and manage a clinical quality and audit programme: define KPIs, conduct audits, triage findings and drive corrective actions.
• Lead doctor training and continuous professional development programmes in partnership with People.
• Oversee clinical incident management, including reporting, root‑cause analysis and escalation to the Medical Director.
• Lead and coach the community of Medical Directors, fostering shared standards and peer learning.
• Partner with General Managers, Finance, Product, Tech and People to align medical operations with business objectives.
• Provide operational insight for market expansion, new clinic openings, M&A due diligence and regulatory matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational leadership at scale, preferably within health‑tech or medical environments.
• Ability to translate clinical standards into actionable processes and to drive adherence across multiple countries.
• Strong judgment to lead a skilled clinical workforce without being a senior clinician.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with finance, product, technology and people teams.
