Head of Product Team Commercial Air Conditioning Europe

About the role

The Bosch Home Comfort Group is looking for a Head of Product Team for light commercial air conditioning in Europe. The role holds P&L responsibility for the light commercial air conditioning business in the region, within the Product Line Air Conditioning and Well-Being, and is based in Vacarisses, in the Barcelona area.

Key responsibilities

• P&L responsibility for PAC units and VRF systems in the region, covering revenue and gross margin
• Develop and execute strategy in line with the Product Line strategy (market, products, R&D, manufacturing)
• Manage the product portfolio for light commercial air conditioning products under the Hitachi, Bosch and York brands in the assigned region
• Set and steer pricing in line with the country sales organizations

Required profile

• Master's or bachelor's degree in engineering, energy engineering, building services engineering or a related technical field
• Experience with large contractors, developers and commercial partners in the building sector
• Understanding of country-specific legislation and its impact on product and market development
• Fluent English; other European languages are an advantage
• Advantageous: additional qualifications in business administration, product management or innovation management

Required skills

• Strong command of P&L, pricing waterfalls, margins and cost steering
• Knowledge of HVAC technology, trends, competitors and common HVAC solutions
• Knowledge of sales channels and business models of key partners
• Knowledge of Asian manufacturers' landscape
• Knowledge of marketing, pre-sales, training, after-sales and spare parts processes
• Strategic planning, decision-making, change management and leadership of cross-functional, multicultural teams
