Head of Quality Assurance Department

About the role

COLIBRIX.ONE is building AI‑powered payment technologies for PSPs, EMIs and neobanks across the EU and the UK. We are looking for a Head of Quality Assurance to own product quality, define the QA strategy and lead a proactive, automated QA function in a regulated fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end product quality across all environments (dev → prod).
• Design and implement a QA strategy, processes and a quality‑first culture focused on defect prevention.
• Make release quality decisions (go/no‑go) and manage quality gates and release readiness.
• Ensure production stability through defect SLAs, feature flags, rollbacks and kill‑switches.
• Establish controlled QA/Sandbox environments aligned with production.
• Drive test automation for critical E2E, API and integration flows and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and track quality metrics such as defect leakage, coverage, flakiness and MTTR.
• Lead incident root‑cause analysis and implement systemic quality improvements.
• Build and scale the QA team, structure and operating model.
• Promote modern, AI‑enabled QA practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in QA, including leadership roles.
• Strong background in fintech, payments, banking or e‑money systems.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and high‑risk environments.
• Proven ability to design and execute proactive QA strategies.
