Homologation Engineer

About the role

Lear Corporation is seeking a Homologation Engineer to join its Product Design Engineering team in Valls, Spain. The role focuses on designing and developing mechanical, electronic, or chemical products that meet technical specifications while ensuring cost‑effective manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to create new or improve existing products, components, and assemblies.
• Conduct mathematical modelling to verify technical feasibility.
• Support design, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes.
• Participate in the design of product‑specific manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Manage projects and processes with limited supervision.
• Coach and review work of junior engineers.

Required profile

• Senior Professional (P3) level with advanced knowledge obtained through higher education and relevant work experience.
• Ability to solve complex engineering problems independently.
