Hospital Affairs Lead – Spain (South)

About the role

Rhythm is seeking a Hospital Affairs Lead for the South of Spain to drive sales of its rare disease product portfolio. You will act as the commercial partner of choice for hospitals, payers and multidisciplinary teams, leveraging scientific expertise and project‑management skills to expand market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Own regional sales responsibility for approved indications across Spain.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key external experts, payers, specialist nurses, hospital pharmacists and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Deliver growth in line with business expectations and support comprehensive care and patient‑support programs.
• Facilitate referral pathways between peripheral sites and prescribing centres.
• Lead an omnichannel customer approach, create account plans, track performance and report on territory results.
• Provide scientific data discussion to advocate product benefits within approved indications.
• Participate in national meetings, conferences and local educational events.
• Collect market, customer and competitor insights and feed them into strategic planning.
• Use the CRM system for business planning and ensure compliance with ethics and legal standards.

Required profile

• Academic degree in science, economics or related field; MBA, PharmD or PhD is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of documented sales success in the pharma/biotech industry in Spain.
• Experience with orphan or specialty‑care drugs preferred.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with HCPs, specialist nurses, hospital pharmacists, payers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated experience in facilitating referral pathways and leading regional projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for sales planning and reporting.
