Hotel Receptionist – Occidental Mar Menor

About the role

Join the Barceló Group as a Hotel Receptionist at the Occidental Mar Menor resort. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth experience from arrival through departure while representing the brand’s high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform check‑in procedures, welcome guests and provide all necessary information.
• Handle check‑out, settle bills and bid farewell to departing guests.
• Offer personal and telephone assistance throughout the stay, addressing requests promptly.
• Carry out concierge duties, manage luggage storage and provide local information.
• Review and confirm reservations, ensuring accuracy.
• Conduct night‑audit tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the Reception Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master in Marketing or a related field, with specific training in tourism quality.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service or quality roles within the hotel sector.
• High level of English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Knowledge of ISO standards applicable to hospitality.
