Housekeeping Attendant – Hotel Room Service

About the role

Join the Barceló Hotel Group in Málaga as a Housekeeping Attendant. You will ensure that guest rooms and public areas are clean, well‑maintained, and ready for arrival, contributing to a high‑quality guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cleaning supplies, equipment and tools for each shift.
• Clean and tidy guest rooms and common areas, checking the condition of furniture, fixtures and amenities.
• Make beds, ventilate rooms, replenish linens, toiletries, minibar items and other supplies.
• Inspect rooms for damages, report any defects and follow established hygiene procedures.
• Assist guests during their stay, handle lost‑and‑found items and respond to reasonable requests.
• Collect used linens and send them to laundry, restock cleaning carts and maintain orderly work areas.

Required profile

• Basic education (ESO or equivalent).
• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping role is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of English is a plus.
• Customer‑oriented attitude, teamwork, and a strong sense of order and quality.
• Motivation, responsibility and good organisational skills.
