HR Business Partner

About the role

DayOne is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support its growing operations in Spain. You will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning people strategy with the company’s rapid expansion and ensuring compliance with local labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organisational growth and team development.
• Provide guidance on performance management, leadership development and employee relations.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to execute hiring plans and onboarding.
• Support organisational design and capability building as teams scale.
• Champion DayOne’s culture and promote an engaged, high‑performing workplace.
• Ensure HR practices comply with Spanish labour law and company policies.
• Implement global HR programs and initiatives locally.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish labour law.
• Proven ability to partner with business leaders in fast‑growing international organisations.
• Excellent employee‑relations and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field (Master’s a plus).

• Workday (or similar HR Information System) experience.
