HR Generalist – Barcelona

About the role

We are seeking a proactive HR Generalist to join our People Experience team in Barcelona. You will own core HR processes, support payroll and benefits, and act as a trusted point of contact for employees while ensuring compliance with Spanish legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Execute HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes, and off‑boarding.
• Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and certificates in line with Spanish regulations.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries on HR policies and procedures.
• Collect, validate, and submit monthly payroll inputs to PayFit and coordinate with Finance for timely payroll execution.
• Administer benefits enrolments, changes, and respond to employee questions.
• Support end‑to‑end recruitment for Spain, contributing to employer branding and talent attraction.
• Assist internal mobility and career development initiatives.
• Participate in HR projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
• 3+ years of hands‑on HR Generalist experience, preferably in Spain or an international setting.
• Experience covering the full employee lifecycle and payroll coordination.
• Comfortable using HRIS and ATS platforms.
• People‑first mindset with strong empathy and judgment.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
