HR Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and professionalise the Human Resources function for a multi‑site group in Madrid. The role combines strategic planning with day‑to‑day operational oversight, ensuring consistent HR practices across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, formalise and implement corporate HR policies to ensure consistency across sites.
• Standardise recruitment, onboarding, leave management, performance management, training and development processes.
• Advise General Management on organisational design, workforce planning, talent strategy and compensation.
• Review and streamline compensation policies and the employee value proposition.
• Oversee personnel administration and coordinate with the outsourced payroll provider.
• Lead and develop the current HR team, expanding its scope beyond recruitment.
• Act as the HR reference for the management committee/board.
• Assess and improve HR tools, systems and processes for efficiency and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Labour Relations, Law, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in generalist or senior HR roles, preferably in people‑intensive organisations.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish labour law and employee relations.
• Proven track record designing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership on organisational and talent decisions.
• Fluent English (minimum C1) for interaction with international environments.

• Expertise in developing HR policies, recruitment, onboarding, performance and learning processes.
• Ability to work closely with senior managers and line leaders.
