Human Resources Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

We are a multinational organization seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support three manufacturing plants in the Murcia region of Spain. The role bridges regional operations leadership and the global HR team, driving workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary HR business partner for three manufacturing sites, delivering strategic and operational HR support.
• Collaborate with operations and global HR to design and execute workforce strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead workforce planning, onboarding, and integration for both salaried and hourly staff.
• Manage employee relations, including performance management, investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
• Develop and run programs that boost employee engagement, satisfaction, retention, and well‑being.
• Coordinate with external payroll providers to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.
• Design, implement, and monitor annual training and development plans.
• Ensure compliance with Spanish labor laws, collective bargaining agreements, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate employee records, organizational charts, and HR reporting systems.
• Analyze HR metrics to support data‑driven decision making and continuous improvement.
• Leverage technology, automation, and AI tools to enhance HR efficiency and employee experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 8 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies, recruitment programs, and onboarding processes.
• Extensive experience managing employee relations and performance management.
