Human Resources Specialist – Hotel in Corralejo Bay

About the role

Barceló Group is looking for a proactive Human Resources Specialist to support the Barceló Corralejo Bay hotel. You will manage the full spectrum of HR activities, ensuring compliance with Spanish labor legislation while fostering a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all HR department functions, including personnel administration, labor relations, recruitment, talent development, and occupational risk prevention.
• Process contracts, payroll, social security contributions, and tax obligations to keep the hotel fully compliant.
• Forecast, monitor, and control the budget for HR projects within your area of responsibility.
• Execute actions assigned by regional and HR management to meet strategic objectives.
• When the HR Business Partner is absent, act as the liaison between HR leadership and the hotel’s operational units, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Labor Relations, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of generalist HR experience or 3 years in a similar role with supervisory responsibilities.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Strong organizational abilities and problem‑solving skills.
• Initiative, proactivity, and a results‑oriented mindset.
