IB DP French Teacher – High School

About the role

Aquinas American School is looking for a passionate French teacher to join its High School team for the 2026‑27 academic year. The successful candidate will deliver French instruction to High School students, including courses within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Key responsibilities

• Teach French at the High School level, covering IB DP Language B and/or Ab Initio courses.
• Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous lessons that promote student growth and achievement.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects.
• Contribute positively to the broader school community and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in French, Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching French at the High School level.
• IB DP teaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
• Fluent speaker of French.
