About the role

Golumi is looking for a Software Engineer to join its development team at the Arroyomolinos office (Madrid). You will work on backend systems, distributed computing, Linux servers, real‑time streaming, and AI applied to video and audio.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain backend applications and services.
• Develop and operate distributed architectures using Docker and Docker Swarm.
• Build and optimise APIs, REST services and database integrations.
• Collaborate on AI models (LLM, Transformers, embeddings) and integrate third‑party AI APIs.
• Work with video processing libraries such as FFmpeg and OpenCV.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with Linux servers.
• Strong command of Python and Java (minimum 2 years each).
• Experience with Docker, Docker Swarm and containerised deployments.
