Internal Auditor – Financial Crime

About the role

Revolut is seeking a motivated Internal Auditor specialising in financial crime to support regulatory audits and strengthen internal risk management. You will work closely with the Audit, Risk and Compliance teams to design and execute audit programmes that protect the business and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute audit programmes in line with internal policies, regulatory requirements and professional standards.
• Optimise data usage throughout the audit process to improve risk insight and deliver actionable findings.
• Identify relevant risks and regulatory requirements to shape audit scopes.
• Engage with business units to understand controls, processes and potential gaps.
• Communicate audit findings directly with management and produce detailed reports with root‑cause analysis and recommendations.
• Partner with units to design process‑optimisation and compliance improvements.
• Perform follow‑up reviews of previously identified deficiencies and monitor audit progress against timelines.
• Maintain professional relevance through research and required training.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in an audit‑related role within a regulated financial‑services environment.
• Strong knowledge of EU money‑laundering directives, JMLSG and FATF guidance.
• Familiarity with financial‑crime controls such as KYC/KYB, due diligence, transaction monitoring and sanctions screening.
• Motivation to learn, grow and make an immediate impact in a fast‑moving team.
