International Sales Manager

About the role

As an International Sales Manager you will lead the global sales effort for SGS’s Business Assurance portfolio, targeting multinational key accounts. You will be responsible for developing and executing a worldwide sales strategy to grow revenue and market share across a range of assurance services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global sales strategy to meet defined revenue targets.
• Secure exclusive contracts for Business Assurance services, positioning SGS as the preferred provider.
• Lead negotiations from initial contact through contract sign‑off, handling RFIs and RFPs.
• Drive revenue, profit and market share growth with existing and new multinational accounts.
• Prepare accurate proposals in line with SGS pricing structures and timelines.
• Ensure SGS has the required capabilities and resources to deliver contracted services.
• Collaborate closely with Business Managers and technical teams worldwide.
• Maintain a prospect list and detailed plans for each target client in coordination with the Head of International Sales.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling complex assurance, certification or compliance services to global or multinational clients.
• Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in an international context.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage full‑cycle sales processes.
• Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 standards.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 42001 standards.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 and IVDR regulations.
• Understanding of CSRD, GHG and ESG reporting frameworks.
• Experience with SMETA and SCAN supply‑chain assurance standards.
